The "Europe!" software package is a fun and colorful way to become fluent in basic European geography. It is effective for both children and adults.
To run the software, simply double click the "Europe!" icon.
"Europe!" requires a color monitor, 384 Kb of RAM, and a mouse. It takes less than 200 Kb of hard drive space, but you can also run it directly from a diskette drive if desired.
This software package contains four European geography quiz games:
1) countries,
2) capitals,
3) exports,
4) and major geographical features.
The software contains on line help: select the ??? icon wherever it appears.
Your total score will be displayed when you end the game via the "Exit" button. The scorecard shows the number of points earned for each game, the percent correct, and a color code indicating which level of difficulty each game was played at.
The "Europe!" software package may freely be copied or sold, by anyone, to anyone, any number of times, to or from any machine or disk, without royalty, for any reason. Please pass it along to friends, local schools, or others who can benefit from its use. Please provide this latest version of "Europe!" to others that may have an older version. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble this software.
Although the "Europe!" software package is a complete product in itself, it also serves as level 1 of the "Around the World!"™ software package. Further information on this software is available by selecting "Info" when you exit the "Europe!" game package. If you do not wish to see this information, simply select "exit" at that time. "Command Q" and "Quit" from the file menu will also run "Info". You must mouse click "Exit" to end the program.
Torpedo Software will send you a copy of "Around the World!" with your registration of "Europe!". The cost is $12, or the equivalent in your currency. See the "Info" section when you exit "Europe!" for payment instructions, and for ordering information for countries outside the USA. You can print and fill out the file "order.txt" to order the software. It is not necessary to use this form if you do not wish to. Also, please note that unlike "Europe!", "Around the World!" is not shareware, but copyrighted software.
